Proper Pruning
Notice the emphasis on PROPER? Improper pruning can actually lead to the death of a tree. Leaving large gash wounds too far away from the branch collar can prevent a tree from being able to actually repair the wound and continue to grow properly. However, proper pruning promotes LOTS of healthy growth to your trees.
